Products

This tab displays the list of products that match your search query.

Specify one or more of the search criteria listed below and click Apply filters. If you want to stop the search, press “Esc” on the keyboard or click Stop .

Click Default filters to reset the search criteria to their initial values. To refresh the search results, click Reload data.

Filter products by name. Type a product name here.

By default, PortaBilling filters products by the name that starts with your input. To change the matching mode, click Matching mode and select an option to filter the products with a name that:

• Contains – contains your input (anywhere in the name).
• Starts with – starts with your input.
• Ends with – ends with your input.
• Exactly matches – exactly matches your input.

To filter products by a specific currency, select a currency from the dropdown list. To find a currency in the dropdown list, start typing a currency name.

Filter products by their type.

• Select Any to search among both main and add-on products.
• Select Main product to display main products.
• Select Add-on product to display add-on products.

Filter products by their status.

• Select Any to search among ready-to-use products and products with the Draft status.
• Select Ready to use to display products that are ready to use.
• Select Draft to display products with the Draft status.

To filter products by a product group, select a product group from the dropdown list. To find a product group in the dropdown list, start typing its name.

Each entry in the result list consists of:

The name of the product, which is also a link that redirects you to the product page.

This column shows the actions available for a specific product.

• Click Rate lookup to open the Rate lookup page where you can view the rate information for tariff(s) defined for a specific product.
• Click Clone to clone the product.
• Click Delete to delete a product. Select the checkboxes for multiple products and click Delete in the lower right corner to delete them all at once. These options are only available for products that are not in use.

This column shows the product’s status:

• Not used – the product isn’t assigned to an account.
• Used – the product is assigned to an account.
• Draft – the product is not configured (does not include service or usage charges).

This column shows whether the product is a Main product or an Add-on product.

The currency the product is priced in.

The group the product belongs to.

• Change table settings – click Settings in the title bar to customize columns and change row style.
• Re-order the columns – drag-and-drop the column headers right or left to place the columns in the order you want.
• Re-order the rows – click Arrow (or ) next to the column header to re-sort the rows. For example, the Product list panel displays products in alphabetical order. You can re-sort them in reverse order.
• Change the default number of results globally – use the Rows per page dropdown list in the lower right corner to adjust the maximum number of rows that appear on the panel. By default, the panel displays 25 rows. Once the number is changed, it’s automatically saved, so the same number of rows is shown for PortaBilling entities, e.g., customer, account, reseller, etc.
