Add-On Mart is PortaOne’s cloud-based marketplace and integration hub for modules that enables telecom providers to deploy new functionalities – such as CPE provisioning, online payments, or self-care portals – without updating PortaSwitch.
Each module runs in a separate container, a portable software unit that packages all the necessary components (code, libraries, settings) for the service. These containers are deployed in the Add-On Mart Cloud Infrastructure (AMCI), running on a Kubernetes cluster in Oracle Cloud (OCI) independently of the PortaSwitch installation. This modular approach reduces time to market and simplifies updates.
Modules can be activated on demand, configured via a user interface, and communicate securely with PortaSwitch via APIs. Add-On Mart also allows third-party developers to publish and monetize their telecom applications.
