Price selection rules

The Price selection rules panel shows the rules that match your search criteria.

To add a price selection rule, click +Rule and fill in the details.

Specify one or more of the search criteria listed below and click Search. If you want to stop the search, press “Esc” on the keyboard or click Stop Stop Circle.

Click Default filters default filters to reset the search criteria to their initial values.

Name

Filter price selection rules by name. Specify a price selection rule name to filter the list.

Type

Filter price selection rules by type.

  • Select Any to search for all available price selection rules.
  • Select a specific type from the list to search for price selection rules of that type.

Service type

Filter price selection rules by the service type. 

  • Select Any to view all available price selection rules.
  • Select a specific service type from the list to search for price selection rules defined for that service type.

Mode

Filter price selection rules by the mode.

  • Select Any to view all available price selection rules.
  • Select a specific mode from the list to search for price selection rules defined for that mode.

Code group set

This is the name for the price selection rule.

Actions

This column shows the available actions you can perform with the price selection rule. 

  • Click Edit Edit icon to change details of a specific price selection rule.
  • Click Delete delete to remove a specific price selection rule.

Type

This type of the price selection rule defines how many basic prices can be configured in a rate and under which conditions they apply.

  • Default – allows a single basic price for a specific destination
  • Peak/Off Peak – allows two basic prices in the rate: one for peak hours and one for off-peak hours
  • Peak/2 Off Peaks – allows three basic prices in the rate: for peak, off-peak, and second off-peak periods
  • Inter/Intra Zone – allows two basic prices in the rate for interstate and intrastate zones
  • Inter/Intra Zone with Off Peak – allows three basic prices in the rate: for interstate peak, interstate off-peak, and intra-rate zone

Service type

This is the service type to which a price selection rule applies. 

Code group set

This is a code group set defined for this pricing selection rule. 

Mode

Shows the mode that defines how extra rates should be applied under this rule:

  • Add extra rates to basic rates as a surcharge – in this mode, when creating an origin-based rate, you can define extra rates as surcharges. These are added to the basic price if the caller’s number matches a specific rate code (e.g., a country code).
  • Replace basic rates with the extra rate – in this mode, when creating an origin-based rate, you can define extra rates as new prices that replace the basic price if the caller’s number matches a specific rate code (e.g., a country code).

Off-peak period

Displays the off-peak period for price selection rules of the following types: Peak/Off Peak, Peak/2 Off Peaks, and Inter/Intra Zone with Off Peak.

Click the name to open the off-peak period edit page or hover to view the interval details.

Time zone

Displays the time zone used for the set off-peak period in the price selection rule of the Peak/Off Peak, Peak/2 Off Peaks, and Inter/Intra Zone with Off Peak types.
