This panel displays the list of SIM cards that match your search query.
SIM card search
Specify one or more of the search criteria and click Search. If you want to stop the search, press “Esc” on the keyboard. Click More to view all available search criteria.
Click Default filters to reset search criteria to their initial values.
PortaBilling automatically loads the list of records once you open the page. You can turn off data autoload if you don’t want all records to load each time you open the page. To disable data autoload, click Page search settings
and clear the Automatically start searching upon opening the page checkbox. The list of records won’t load until you click Search.
If the search result contains a single record, the system can open it automatically. For this, select the If the manual search produces a single result, automatically open it checkbox.
Quick search
Filter distributors by name and other fields, e.g., billing address, login, phone, etc. By default, the quick search is performed only by name.
To configure how the search is performed, click Quick search options next to the Quick search field. To include/exclude the other criteria, select/clear the corresponding checkbox.
Choose how Quick search compares the distributor name or other criteria:
- Exact match – returns results identical to your input.
- Starts with – returns results that begin with your input.
- Contains – returns results that include your input anywhere.
- Ends with – returns results that finish with your input.
Once the Quick search options are selected, the changes are automatically saved and applied to the next searches.
Status
Filter SIM cards by their status.
- Select Any to display SIM cards with any status.
- Select Available to display available SIM cards.
- Select In use to display SIM cards that are already being used by accounts.
- Select Reserved to display SIM cards that have been assigned to customers (e.g., a business customer ordered SIM cards to activate them in the future for the new employees).
- Select Disposed to display SIM cards that have been unassigned from the account and are no longer usable.
Managed by
Filter SIM cards according to whether they are managed by an administrator or a specific reseller.
- Select Any to search among SIM cards managed by administrators and resellers.
- Select Administrator to display SIM cards managed by administrators.
- Select Reseller name to display SIM cards managed by a particular reseller.

Most of the search criteria in this section relate to the customer contact information and are self-explanatory.
To change the matching mode for a specific field, hover over it, click Matching mode and select the needed option to filter customer records by the customer data that:
- Contains – contains your input (anywhere in a value)
- Starts with – starts with your input
- Ends with – ends with your input
- Exactly matches – exactly matches your input
IMSI
Filter SIM cards by IMSI. Type a SIM card IMSI here.
ICCID
Filter the SIM cards by their ICCID. Type a SIM card ICCID here.
MSISDN
Filter the SIM cards by their MSISDN. Type a SIM card MSISDN here.
Customer
Filter SIM cards reserved for a specific customer.
- Select Any to search among SIM cards regardless of the customer to which they are assigned.
- To filter SIM cards by a specific customer, select the customer from the list or start typing the customer’s name.
Distributor
Filter SIM cards by the distributor assigned.
- Select Any to search among SIM cards regardless of the distributor to which they are assigned.
- To filter SIM cards by a specific distributor, select the distributor from the list or start typing the distributor’s name.
Representative
Filter SIM cards by the representative assigned.
- Select Any to search among SIM cards regardless of the representative to which they are assigned.
- To filter SIM cards by a specific representative, select the representative from the list or start typing the representative’s name.
Custom fields
Filter SIM cards by custom field values (e.g., marketplace name where SIM cards are being offered).
By default, PortaBilling filters SIM cards by custom field values that Starts with your input. For more precise search results, click Matching mode to filter SIM cards by the custom field value that:
- Contains – contains your input.
- Starts with – starts with your input.
- Ends with – ends with your input.
- Exactly matches – exactly matches your input.
SIM cards list
The SIM cards list includes the default columns:
IMSI
The unique International Mobile Subscriber Identity of the SIM card.
Actions
This column shows the available actions you can perform with a specific SIM card.
Click Edit to view and edit the SIM card details.
Click Delete
to delete a SIM card. This option is only available for SIM cards that are not in use.
ICCID
The SIM card's unique serial number which can be found on the back of the card.
Managed by
Shows who can make changes to the given SIM card, whether it is an administrator or a particular reseller.
MSISDN
The mobile number of a given SIM card. This is the account ID of the linked account. Thus, this field is full only when a SIM card is already assigned to a specific account.
Description
Shows a short description of the card.
Status
Shows the SIM card status:
- Available – the SIM card is not yet assigned to any account.
- In use – the SIM card is assigned to an account.
- Reserved – the SIM card is assigned to a customer, but it is not in use yet.
- Disposed – the SIM card is unassigned from the account and is no longer usable.
Distributor
Shows the distributor the SIM card is assigned to.
Representative
Shows the representative the SIM card is assigned to.
Customer
Shows the customer the SIM card is assigned to.
Customize the panel
- Change table settings – click Settings
in the title bar to customize columns and change row style. - Re-order the columns – drag-and-drop the column headers right or left to place the columns in the order you want.
- Re-order the rows – click Arrow

) next to the column header to re-sort the rows. For example, the SIM cards panel displays SIM cards by IMSI in ascending order. You can re-sort them in the reverse order. - Change the default number of results globally – use the Rows per page dropdown list in the lower right corner to adjust the maximum number of rows that appear on the panel.
