Before you proceed with the installation, make sure the servers (physical or virtual) meet the minimum hardware requirements.
To start the installation using a USB DVD-ROM, follow the steps below:
- Make sure that all internal optical devices are physically disconnected.
- In the BIOS setup make sure that USB DVD-ROM is first in the list of boot devices.
- Insert the first PortaSwitch installation disc into the USB DVD-ROM and then boot from it.
- Proceed with the installation by following the instructions in the Step 3: Starting Installation chapter of this guide.
