Configure when customers receive notifications about their quota usage.
Threshold units
Select how the threshold for notifications is measured:
- In service units (e.g., minutes or megabytes) or the amount of money
- In percent
Remaining peak period
Notify users about their remaining quota for the peak period. Set a notification threshold, and when the remaining quota drops to this threshold, the user will receive a notification.
For example, to send your customers a notification when only 20% of their 100-minute quota remains:
- Select Threshold units > Percent
- Specify 20 in the Remaining peak period quota field.
When a customer uses 80 out of 100 minutes of their quota (with 20% remaining), they receive a notification.
Remaining off-peak period
This option is available if you configured the threshold for the off-peak period.
Notify users about their remaining quota for the off-peak period. Set a notification threshold, and when the remaining quota drops to this threshold, the user will receive a notification.
Remaining second off-peak period
This option is available if you configured the threshold for the second off-peak period.
Notify users about their remaining quota for the second off-peak period. Set a notification threshold, and when the remaining quota drops to this threshold, the user will receive a notification.
Peak period item is depleted
Turn on the toggle to send notifications to users when their quota for the peak period is depleted.
Off-peak period item is depleted
This toggle is active if you configured the threshold for the off-peak period.
Turn on the toggle to send notifications to users when their quota for the off-peak period is depleted.
Second off-peak period item is depleted
This toggle is active if you configured the threshold for the second off-peak period.
Turn on the toggle to send notifications to users when their quota for the second off-peak period is depleted.
