This panel helps you find a specific subcustomer. Specify one or more of the search criteria listed below and click Search. If you want to stop the search, press “Esc” on the keyboard or click Stop Stop Circle. Click More Open the list of search criteria to view all available search criteria. To reset the search criteria, click Default filters default filters.

PortaBilling automatically loads the list of records once you open the page. You can turn off data autoload if you don’t want all records to load each time you open the page. To disable data autoload, click Page search settings settings and clear the check mark for the Automatically start searching upon opening the page option. When the check mark is absent, the list of records won’t load until you click Search. If the search result contains a single record, you can open it automatically by choosing the If the manual search produces a single result, automatically open it option.

Filter subcustomers by name and other fields, e.g., billing address, login, phone, etc. By default, the quick search is performed only by name.

To configure how the search is performed, click Quick search options Matching mode next to the Quick search field. To include or exclude the search criteria, select/clear the checkbox.

Choose how Quick search compares the reseller name or other criteria:

  • Contains – contains your input (anywhere in the value).
  • Starts with – starts with your input.
  • Ends with – ends with your input.
  • Exactly matches – exactly matches your input.

Once the Quick search options are selected, the changes are automatically saved and applied to the next searches.

Status

Link copied to clipboard

This icon shows the subcustomer status. Active subcustomers do not have a status icon.

  • Closed – the subcustomer has been permanently terminated and is only in the database for informational/regulatory purposes. No further operations are possible with this entity.
  • c-blocked Blocked – the subcustomer has been blocked by the administrator; no call services are provided until an administrator removes the block. Blocked subcustomers have no access to their portals. For blocked subcustomers, charges for service usage are not applicable; however, subscription fees and fees for assigned DID numbers will still apply.
  • sc-resellerBlocked Reseller blocked – the reseller’s subcustomer is blocked because the reseller has been blocked by the administrator (this status is inherited from the reseller). No call services are provided until the administrator removes the block from the reseller. Subscription fees still apply.
  • c-suspended Suspended – services for this subcustomer are suspended because of an overdue invoice. Once payment is received (either an online or periodical payment, or you manually enter a cash/check payment) that covers the overdue invoice, the suspension is automatically lifted. A subcustomer can become suspended if their funds are insufficient to cover subscription charges. You regulate this option in the customer class settings. You cannot undo a subcustomer’s suspension manually. However, you can delay the suspension for several days so they can attend to their needs (e.g., allow the customer to use the service over a weekend, although the overdue invoice must be paid in full early Monday morning, without exception). Set which date you lift the customer’s suspension in the Lift the suspension until field. If the subcustomer pays their invoice or the period of delayed suspension is over, PortaBilling removes the date specified in the Lift the suspension until field from the database.
  • a resellerSuspendedReseller suspended – services for the reseller’s subcustomer have been suspended because of a reseller’s overdue invoice (this status is inherited from the reseller). Once payment that covers the overdue invoice is received from the reseller, the suspension is automatically lifted.
  • Provisionally terminated – a subcustomer can become provisionally terminated after the grace period to pay overdue invoices expires. When provisionally terminated, all of a subcustomer's services stop, although their data remains in the database to issue an invoice for the last billing period before the day of termination. You can reactivate the subcustomer’s services if the subcustomer changes their mind later on. The default period for reactivation is 30 days. You can change it in the customer class. If not reactivated, the subcustomer's status automatically changes to Closed.
  • a resellerProvisionallyTerminatedReseller provisionally termanitated – the reseller’s subcustomer and their services are terminated since the reseller is provisionally terminated. If the administrator reactivates the reseller’s record, the subcustomers’ services are reactivated as well.
  • Gk79uvh5ZAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC Credit exceeded – this status is only for postpaid subcustomers. It means that the subcustomer’s current balance is higher than the credit limit value. The subcustomer can't use paid services, though free of charge services (e.g., calls to toll-free numbers) remain available.
  • Gk79uvh5ZAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC No available funds – this status is only for prepaid subcustomers. When a subcustomer's funds reach a zero value, services are no longer available. When the subcustomer makes a payment and available funds increase, all services are again available.
  • c-suspensionLifted Suspension lifted – a subcustomer receives this status after you delay their suspension manually. Services are temporarily available until the date you specified in the Lift the suspension until field.
  • c-paymentFrozen Payment frozen – a subcustomer’s auto-payment is suspended due to repeated errors (e.g., credit card cancellation).
  • OiN88im71AcAAAAASUVORK5CYII= Spending limit reached – a subcustomer receives this status when their daily expenses reach the defined limit. The spending limit renews at 00:00:00 each day, so once the limit renews, the Spending limit reached status is lifted from the subcustomer.
  • Exported – this subcustomer has been ported to another installation in Dual Version PortaSwitch. A subcustomer with this exported status is not operational here; however, their data is kept for backup.
