Type
This type of the price selection rule defines how many basic prices can be configured in a rate and under which conditions they apply.
- Default – allows a single basic price for a specific destination
- Peak/Off Peak – allows two basic prices in the rate: one for peak hours and one for off-peak hours
- Peak/2 Off Peaks – allows three basic prices in the rate: for peak, off-peak, and second off-peak periods
- Inter/Intra Zone – allows two basic prices in the rate for interstate and intrastate zones
- Inter/Intra Zone with Off Peak – allows three basic prices in the rate: for interstate peak, interstate off-peak, and intra-rate zone
Service type
This is the service type to which a price selection rule applies.
Code group set
This is a code group set defined for this pricing selection rule.
Mode
Shows the mode that defines how extra rates should be applied under this rule:
- Add extra rates to basic rates as a surcharge – in this mode, when creating an origin-based rate, you can define extra rates as surcharges. These are added to the basic price if the caller’s number matches a specific rate code (e.g., a country code).
- Replace basic rates with the extra rate – in this mode, when creating an origin-based rate, you can define extra rates as new prices that replace the basic price if the caller’s number matches a specific rate code (e.g., a country code).
Off-peak period
Displays the off-peak period for price selection rules of the following types: Peak/Off Peak, Peak/2 Off Peaks, and Inter/Intra Zone with Off Peak.
