PortaSIP supports the following DTMF methods:
- Inband (as normal audio tones in the RTP stream with no special coding or markers).
- RFC 2833 (as named telephone events in the RTP stream).
- SIP INFO method – this is the preferred DTMF method.
Please note that to use these DTMF methods they must be enabled on the Configuration server web interface.
