The xDRs are billing data records that store information about various billing events: calls, SMSes, payment transactions, etc.

Specify one or more search criteria and click Search. If you want to stop the search, press “Esc” on the keyboard. Click More Open the list of search criteria to view all available search criteria.

Click Default filters default filters to reset the search criteria to their initial values. To refresh the search results, click Search.

PortaBilling automatically loads the list of records once you open the recent xDRs tab. You can turn off data autoload if you don’t want all records to load each time you open the page. To disable data autoload, click Settings settings and clear the Automatically start searching upon opening the page checkbox. The list of records won’t load until you click Search.

Reverse an xDR

Link copied to clipboard

To reverse an xDR, select it from the list and click Revert. Add a comment about your actions (e.g., the reason for the revert).

A long internet session may include several authorization requests, and PortaBilling groups them into one aggregated xDR. When you reverse such a record, you can select all included xDRs or only specific ones.

If you select both aggregated and individual xDRs for reversal, all xDRs included in the aggregated record will be reverted.

To revert the xDR as if it never happened, enable the Hide the original and reversal xDRs from the end user option. This marks the original and corrected xDRs as Hidden T1AAAAAElFTkSuQmCC. End users will not see these xDRs in their invoices, on their portals, or in the statistics. This option is only available when the reverse transaction amount is equal to the original transaction(s) amount and all the transaction xDRs are included in the open billing period or in an invoice that is under review.

Note that you must be very careful with the Hide the original and reversal xDRs from the end user option. Once an xDR becomes hidden, it’s not possible to reverse it. So if you reverse a transaction by mistake and mark it as hidden, you can only correct this by manually charging for the transaction amount or by importing an analogous xDR.

Customize the panel

  • Change table settings – click Settings oc0IIr95AAAAAElFTkSuQmCC in the title bar to customize columns, change row style, or reset table settings.
  • Re-order the columns – drag-and-drop the column headers right or left to place the columns in the order you want.
  • Change the default number of results globally – use the Number of results drop-down list in the bottom-right corner to adjust the maximum number of rows that appear on the panel. By default, the xDRs list panel displays 25 rows. Once the number is changed, it's automatically saved, so the same number of rows is shown for PortaBilling entities, e.g., customer, account, reseller, etc.
