Rate match modes

On this panel, you can find a specific rate match mode (a default one or a custom one).

To add a custom rate match mode, click + Match mode and fill in the details. To edit a specific custom rate match mode, click Edit in the Actions column.

Specify one or more of the search criteria listed below and click Search. 

Click Default filters to reset the search criteria to their initial values.

Filter rate match modes by name or description.

To configure how the search is performed, click Quick search options next to the Quick search field. To include/exclude the Destination criterion, select/clear the corresponding checkbox.

Choose how Quick search compares the name or description of rate match modes:

• Exact match – returns results identical to your input.
• Starts with – returns results that begin with your input.
• Contains – returns results that include your input anywhere.
• Ends with – returns results that finish with your input.

Once the Quick search options are selected, the changes are automatically saved and applied to the next searches.

Filter rate match modes by applicable service type:

• Voice calls
• Messaging service
• Internet access

Filter rate match modes by a key.

Shows the name for a rate match mode.

The default rate match modes are:

• Destination – the system determines the applicable rates based on the destination phone number. This is a typical setting for voice calls and messaging services. A code group set with this mode can be used for standard tariffs, as well as for those with origin-based rates or zone-based rates (e.g., for calls from within/outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or US inter/intra-state).
• Destination E.212 – similar to the Destination mode, but used when rate codes are defined in the E.212 format (MCC/MNC pair for mobile network identification).
• Origination – the system determines the applicable rates based on the origin phone number. This mode is used to apply extra rates based on the origin of the call or message (in tariffs with origin-based rates).
• Origination E.212 – similar to the Origination mode, but used when rate codes are in the E.212 format (MCC/MNC pair for mobile network identification).

Shows the available actions (Edit or Delete ).

Shows the comma-separated list of keys that can identify the destination or origination number.

Shows the service type this rate match mode applies to:

• Voice calls
• Messaging service
• Internet access

Shows the rate match mode description.
