A bundle item is defined by a combination of the service type (e.g., voice calls), code group (e.g., international rate codes), and service volume, measured either in monetary value or service units (e.g., minutes). To add a new bundle item, click Add on the Bundle item list panel and fill in the details.

Code group

In PortaBilling, a bundle item always incorporates a code group. A code group may include phone prefixes (e.g., 1206) and/or special rate codes (e.g., NETACCESS) used for the services provided within a bundle item.

Select a code group from the code group set associated with the bundle.

If the bundle is associated with a complete code group set, the set may include code groups and their subgroups. For example, a code group labeled "Southern Europe" might include subgroups like "Italy," "Greece," "Portugal," and others. If you create a bundle item for both the parent ("Southern Europe") and child ("Italy") code groups, the service volume will be used only from the child group’s bundle item. In this case, minutes for calls to Italy will be deducted solely from the "Italy" bundle item. Once those minutes are depleted, minutes from the "Southern Europe" bundle item will not be used for calls to Italy.
If you want the minutes from the "Southern Europe" bundle item to be used after the minutes from the "Italy" bundle item, create the "Southern Europe" bundle item under a separate bundle with a lower priority.
