The Account page displays a list of accounts that match your search query.

To find an account, specify one or more of the search criteria and click Search. To stop the search, press “Esc” on the keyboard or click Stop Stop Circle. Click Default filters Default filters to reset search criteria.

PortaBilling automatically loads the list of records once you open the page. You can turn off data autoload if you don’t want all records to load each time you open the page. To disable data autoload, click Settings oc0IIr95AAAAAElFTkSuQmCC and clear the check mark for the Automatically start searching upon opening the page option. When the check mark is absent, the records won’t load until you click Search. If the search result contains a single record, you can open it automatically by choosing the If the search produces a single result, automatically open it option.

Account ID

Filter accounts by account ID.

By default, PortaBilling filters account IDs that start with your input. To change the matching mode for this field, click Matching mode Matching mode and select the needed option to filter accounts by account ID that:

  • Contains – contains your input (anywhere in the account ID).
  • Starts with – starts with your input.
  • Ends with – ends with your input.
  • Exactly matches – exactly matches your input.

Status

Filter accounts by their status:

  • All except closed (default) – shows all accounts except those that are closed.
  • Any – shows all of the customer’s accounts, including closed ones.
  • Open – shows only active (open) accounts.
  • Inactive – shows accounts that are not yet active.
  • Closed – shows only closed accounts.

Product

Filter the accounts by the main product assigned. The product defines which services are provided to end users.

  • Select Any to search for accounts regardless of the main product assigned.
  • To filter accounts by the specific main product, select the main product from the list or start typing a name.

To obtain more precise results, click More Open the list of search criteria to open advanced search criteria.

Most of the search criteria in this section relate to the account contact information and are self-explanatory.

To change the matching mode for a specific field, hover over it, click Matching mode Matching mode, and select the needed option to filter accounts by the account data that:

  • Contains – contains your input (anywhere in a value)
  • Starts with – starts with your input
  • Ends with – ends with your input
  • Exactly matches – exactly matches your input

Registration status

Filter accounts by SIP status.

  • Select Any to search among accounts that have any status.
  • Select Registered to show online accounts.
  • Select Unregistered to show offline accounts.

Type

Filter accounts by their type:

Batch

Filter accounts by batch. Select a specific batch to search among accounts belonging to this batch.

Control number

Filter accounts by control number (a sequential number of the account in the batch). Type a control number or several numbers separated by commas (e.g., 1,3,8). Specify number ranges through hyphen (e.g., 8-12).

Alt. phone

The phone number to send SMS notifications.

Search accounts by the custom data you specified for them in custom fields.

The account list includes the default columns:

ID

The account ID or alias, which is also a link that redirects you to the account edit page or the alias edit panel. Aliases are marked with Alias Alias.

Status

Status icon shows the account’s status. No icon means the account is active and all services are available.

Product

The account’s main product.

Type

The account type:

  • Debit – the account can consume services when money is deposited.
  • Credit – the account can consume services and pay for them later.
  • Alias icon – the account is a link or pointer to the main account and can consume services depending on the main account’s type.
  • Voucher – the account is used to “recharge” (increase the available amount of) a credit or debit account.

Opening balance

This is the initial amount of funds available on an account upon creation.

By default, this column is hidden. To add this column, click Settings settings on the title bar, click Customize columns, and select the Opening balance checkbox.

Balance

This is the current amount of available funds (for a debit account or a voucher) or the amount owed (for a credit account with an individual credit limit).

Credit limit

The credit limit set for the account (only for credit accounts with an individual credit limit). When the account’s balance reaches that credit limit, this account becomes unusable.

Batch

The batch that the account belongs to.

Idle, days

The number of days the account has not been in use.

Registration

The SIP status of the account: either online (accounts with an active SIP registration) or offline (accounts whose SIP registration has expired).

xDRs

The xDRs are data records that include billing information related to services provided to this customer. Click xDRs next to the account to open its xDR history.

To edit an account, click the account ID in the list.

Customize the panel

  • Change table settings – click Settings oc0IIr95AAAAAElFTkSuQmCC in the title bar to customize columns and change row style.
  • Re-order the columns – drag-and-drop the column headers right or left to place the columns in the order you want.
  • Re-order the rows – click Arrow (or QsIBqAAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) next to the column header to re-sort the rows. For example, the Accounts list panel displays accounts in descending order. You can re-sort them in the reverse order.
  • Change the default number of results globally – use the Number of results dropdown list in the upper right corner to adjust the maximum number of rows that appear on the panel. By default, the panel displays 25 rows. Once the number is changed, it’s automatically saved, so the same number of rows is shown for PortaBilling entities, e.g., customer, account, reseller, etc.
