To manually add a new rate, click Add on the Rate list panel, fill in the details, and click Save. To add more rates, click Save & Add a copy.
These options apply to rates in tariffs where the option Define prices is set to per code group (supports CLI+CLD rating).
General configuration
Code group
Select the code group from the code group set defined during the tariff creation.
Price selection rule
Select one of the price selection rules that applies to the rate. You can choose from a centralized list or tariff-specific rules. For instance, for origin-based rates, the rule defines how to apply extra charges (e.g., as a surcharge to the base rate) and specifies the origination code group set.
Effective From
Specify the exact date when the rate becomes effective.
Expiration date
Specify the exact date when the rate expires. This means that the rate will be discontinued from the specified time-stamped date.
First interval, seconds
Specify the first rounding interval in seconds (default is 1 second). This interval defines the minimum duration of the call that is going to be billed. For instance, if the first interval is set to 30 seconds, a call lasting between 1 and 30 seconds will be billed as a 30-second call.
Next interval, seconds
Specify the next rounding interval in seconds (default is 1 second). This determines how the call duration beyond the initial interval is billed. For example, if the next interval is set to 1 second, any duration beyond the initial interval will be billed in 1-second increments. If you set the first interval to 30 seconds and the next interval to 1 second, and the call lasts for 36 seconds, the customer will be charged for 36 seconds.
Basic price
Specify the per-minute (basic) price per destination code group.
Preference
For rates in vendor tariffs, specify the routing priority (0–10). Higher values indicate higher priority, and these rates appear first in the routing list. A value of 0 means “do not use this rate for routing.” The default is 5.
Forbidden
This means that calls to this specific destination are forbidden and will not be authorized.
Select the checkbox to enable the forbidden status.
Huntstop
This shows that the routes with a lower route category or preference will be ignored.
Select the checkbox to enable the huntstop for this rate.
Extra rates
On this tab, you can add extra rates (e.g., rates that apply when a call is made to a specific destination from a specific origin number).
The specified amounts will either be added as a surcharge to the basic price or fully replace it, depending on the price selection rule applied to the rate.
Click Delete to remove a specific extra rate.
To add more extra rates, click Add.
Origination group
Select the code group from the code group set defined in the Price selection rule applied to this rate.
Surcharge
Specify the amount that will be added on top of the basic price. The final price (the basic price plus the surcharge) is displayed under the field.
Final price
Specify the final per-minute price that will replace the basic price.
Forbidden
This means that calls to this specific destination are forbidden and will not be authorized.
Select the checkbox to enable the forbidden status.
