This panel displays a list of custom data entries that match your search query.

Specify one or more search criteria and click Search. If you want to stop the search, press “Esc” on the keyboard or click Stop Stop icon next to the search filters.

Click Default filters Default filters to reset the search criteria to their initial values.

Name

Filter custom data by typing the custom data name.

Filter custom data by the entity they apply to:

  • Select Any to search among custom data entries that apply to the customer, account, SIM card, or service entities.
  • Select Customer to search only among custom data entries that apply to customers.
  • Select Account to search only among custom data entries that apply to accounts.
  • Select SIM card to search only among custom data entries that apply to SIM cards.
  • Select Service to search only among custom data entries that apply to services.

Type

Filter custom data by data format:

  • Select Any to search among custom data entries regardless of their format.
  • Select Text to search among custom data entries that store simple text.
  • Select Number to search among custom data entries that store numbers.
  • Select Date to search among custom data entries that store dates.
  • Select Date & time to search among custom data entries that store dates with a time component.
  • Select List to search among custom data entries that represent a list of fields.

Mandatory

Filter custom data by whether they are mandatory:

  • Select Any to search among both mandatory and non-mandatory custom data entries.
  • Select Yes to search among mandatory custom data entries.
  • Select No to search among non-mandatory custom data entries.

Access for end users

Filter custom data by their visibility to end users:

  • Select Any to search among visible, editable, and hidden custom data entries.
  • Select Hidden to search only among custom data entries hidden from end users.
  • Select Visible to end users to search only among custom data entries visible to end users.

Each entry in the custom data list consists of:

This column shows the available actions you can perform on a specific custom data entry.

Click Edit Edit icon to edit the custom data details.

Click Delete delete to delete custom data. This option is only available for custom data entries that are not in use.

Name

This column shows the custom data name.

Object

This column shows the entity to which the custom data applies.

Type

This column shows the format of the data that is stored in a custom field.

Properties

This column shows the custom data properties, e.g., the maximum value for a numeric custom data.

Default value

This column shows the information that is stored in a custom data by default.

Mandatory

This column shows whether the custom data is mandatory or not.

Access for end users

This column shows whether custom data is hidden from, visible to, or editable by end users.

Contains personal data

This column indicates whether the custom data includes personal information or not.

Audit log

On the Audit log panel, you can track and browse through changes made to custom data entries. To view audit logs, click Audit log in the upper right corner.

Customize the panel

  • Change table settings – click Settings settings in the title bar to customize columns, change row style, or reset table settings.
  • Re-order the columns – drag-and-drop the column headers right or left to place the columns in the order you want.
  • Re-order the rows – click Arrow up (or down) next to the column header to re-sort the rows. For example, the Custom data list panel displays custom fields in alphabetical order. You can re-sort them in the reverse order.
  • Change the default number of results globally – use the Rows per page drop-down list in the lower right corner to adjust the maximum number of rows that appear on the panel. By default, the panel displays 25 rows. Once the number is changed, it's automatically saved, so the same number of rows is shown for PortaBilling entities, e.g., customer, account, reseller, etc.
