Use the Routing simulation panel to check the route list for a specific destination. Specify the parameters below and click Test.
Originating number or prefix
Here, you can specify the originating (caller’s) phone number. If you use different rates for calls based on the caller’s phone number (i.e., origin-based rates, or separate rates for calls from within/outside the EEA or inter/intra-state calls), you can specify a phone prefix or a full caller’s number for the routing simulation. With this parameter, the routing simulation will consider different vendor rates for SMSes depending on the caller's phone number.
Destination number or prefix
Type either a full phone number or prefix of the recipient to see the route list for it.
Routing plan
Select a routing plan from the list to be used for the routing simulation. By default, when no routing plan is assigned, the Least cost routing (LCR) is used.
Simulation mode
You can select a node from the list to see the routes available when a call is handled by this node.
Simulate with rates effective
PortaBilling can simulate routing using the vendor rates that are effective either now or at a specific time in the future. Click Calendar to select a specific date and time or type it in the format YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss (2021-09-06 00:00:00).
Apply penalties
When adaptive routing is used, the routes can be penalized for not meeting the quality requirements. These routes are moved to the bottom of the routing list.
Turn off the Apply penalties toggle to see the routing list arranged regardless of the currently applied adaptive routing penalties.
