Edit rate

Click Edit  on the Rate list panel to change the selected rate’s parameters.

On the Edit rate panel, you can change the rate details. Note that some fields are read-only. When you are done, click Save.

This is the rate code (phone prefix or a special rate code like VOICEONNET).

You cannot change the rate code for saved rates.

This is a mobile country code with the corresponding country.

Custom means that a special rate code is selected (e.g., MSG).

You cannot change the MCC/Country for saved rates.

This is a mobile network code or one of the special rate codes (e.g., MSG).

You cannot change the MNC/Network value for saved rates.

Select whether a flat rate should apply or separate rates, e.g., for off-peak period:

• Flat rate – a single fixed price per rate
• Separate peak/off-peak rate – select the previously defined off-peak period. 
• Separate inter/intra-state rate (available only if the corresponding option is enabled on the Configuration server web interface) 
• Separate rates within/outside EEA (available only if the corresponding option is enabled on the Configuration server web interface) 

Specify the exact date and time when the rate becomes effective and click OK.

Select either the current date or a date in the future.

You can specify the amount that will be charged immediately upon connection.

Shows how charges for calls are calculated, including the defined connect fee.

This means that the customer is credited for using certain services, rather than paying for them (e.g., the service provider receives the termination fee for their own subscribers and wants to encourage their users to receive more calls by passing on a certain portion of these savings).

Bundles do not apply to transactions produced according to payback rates. 

Select the checkbox to enable the payback status.

This means that the rate will stop being active immediately. 

Select the checkbox to enable the discontinued status.

This means that calls to this particular destination are forbidden and will not be authorized.

When origin-based charging is used, marking only the basic rate as Forbidden is not sufficient to block calls. If the caller’s number matches a rate code within an origination code group defined for an extra rate that is not marked as Forbidden, the call is still allowed. To ensure calls are rejected, mark both the basic rate and the origin-based extra rates as Forbidden.

Select the checkbox to enable the forbidden status.

Specify the first billing unit in seconds.

Specify the first billing unit for an off-peak period in seconds.

Specify a per-minute price for the first interval.

Specify a per-minute price for the first off-peak interval.

Specify the next billing unit in seconds.

Specify the next billing unit for an off-peak period in seconds.

Specify a per-minute price for the next interval.

Specify a per-minute price for the next off-peak interval.

Specify the price per message.

Specify the price per message sent in an off-peak period.

Group rates into categories such as “Premium,” “Cheap,” etc. Use these categories in routing plans (a combination of route categories in a specific order).

Select the Default route category to not assign a rate to any custom route category.

Group rates for calls made in off-peak periods into categories such as “Off-peak premium,” “Off-peak cheap,” etc. Use these categories in routing plans (a combination of route categories in a specific order).

Select the Default route category to not assign a rate to any custom off-peak route category.

Routing priority (0-10). Higher values indicate higher priority, so these rates appear first in the routing list. A value of 0 means the rate will not be used for routing.

This signals that all routes with a lower route category or preference will be ignored.

Select the checkbox to enable the huntstop for this rate.

Select the checkbox to enable the off-peak huntstop for this rate.
