Product groups

This tab displays the list of product groups that match your search query.

To add a product group, click + Product group and fill in the details.

To edit a product group, click a product group name.

To delete a product group, click Delete .

Specify one or more of the search criteria listed below and click Search. If you want to stop the search, press “Esc” on the keyboard or click Stop .

Click Default filters to reset the search criteria to their initial values.

Filter product groups by name. Type the name of the product group here.

By default, PortaBilling filters product groups by the name that starts with your input. To change the matching mode, click Matching mode and select an option to filter the products with a name that:

• Contains – contains your input (anywhere in the name).
• Starts with – starts with your input.
• Ends with – ends with your input.
• Exactly matches – exactly matches your input.

Filter product groups by the entity they are managed by. Select the needed option from the dropdown list:

• Select Any to view all product groups.
• Select Administrator only to search for the product groups managed by an administrator.
• Select Reseller name to search for the product groups managed by a specific reseller.

Each entry in the result list consists of:

This column shows actions available for a specific product group.

Click Delete to delete a product group. This option is only available for product groups that don’t include main or add-on products.

The product group name. This is also a link that redirects you to the product group edit panel.

This shows whether the product group is managed by an administrator or by a specific reseller.

This column shows all included main products in the product group. The product name is also a link that redirects you to the product panel.

This column shows all included add-on products in the product group. The add-on product name is also a link that redirects you to the add-on product panel.

This displays the total number of add-ons and main products included in the product group.

• Change table settings – click Settings in the title bar to customize columns and change row style.
• Re-order the columns – drag-and-drop the column headers right or left to place the columns in the order you want.
• Re-order the rows – click Arrow (or ) next to the column header to re-sort the rows. For example, the Product groups panel displays products in alphabetical order. You can re-sort them in reverse order.
• Change the default number of results globally – use the Rows per page dropdown list in the lower right corner to adjust the maximum number of rows that appear on the panel. By default, the panel displays 25 rows. Once the number is changed, it’s automatically saved, so the same number of rows is shown for PortaBilling entities, e.g., customer, account, reseller, etc.
