Step 2. The configuration on the PortaBilling web interface

Link copied to clipboard

If you do not yet have your SIP trunking product (the one you will be selling to end users with Teams) configured yet, follow the steps to configure the SIP trunking service in the handbook: SIP Trunking for cloud PBX capable of digest authentication

For the rest of this guide, we assume you already have customers created, and their SIP trunking service configured (e.g., created an account that will be used to authorize outgoing calls and accounts for incoming calls). Consult the same handbook on creating new customers – in any case, a customer has to be configured in PortaSwitch prior to configuring its connection to Teams.

If a customer wants to use separate DID numbers for incoming calls, create the accounts for incoming calls in the same way as you created the main SIP trunking account for outgoing calls, and then follow the instructions in the chapter IP PBX with dynamic IP address to configure the delivering of incoming calls to the main SIP trunking account.
