Overview

PortaPhone Web Widget adds a dialpad and phonebook to any web page and turns phone numbers into clickable links for instant calling. Built on the PortaPhone solution, PortaPhone Web Widget uses WebRTC to seamlessly embed into any web application, such as CRMs, ERPs, or other business applications.

PortaPhone Web Widget

The widget allows authorized users to make and receive voice calls, access contacts, and view call history – all directly from the web page, without switching between pages/apps. This eliminates dialing errors and speeds up routine tasks.

The PortaPhone Web Widget supports the following popular features:

  • Easy Integration: Embed the widget with a simple HTML snippet into business applications.
  • Work-from-Anywhere: Make and receive audio calls with any device (mobile phone, tablet, PC).
  • Access control: Restrict access to authorized users only.
  • Secure Login: The widget utilizes seamless authorization via PortaSwitch web credentials.
  • User-Friendly: Move and minimize the softphone; layout preferences are saved on reload.
  • Custom Branding: Customize the widget with your company logo.
  • Call Management: Users can make and receive audio calls, place calls on hold, mute the microphone, disable the speaker, and enter DTMF codes.
  • Contacts & History: Access contact info, view recent calls, or redial easily.
  • Status Control: Monitor and change SIP status (available, do not disturb).
  • Click-to-dial: Click on any number and get connected in your browser.

You should install PortaPhone which serves as the backend and allows support for multiple widgets. Then you subscribe to the PortaPhone Web Widget module in Add-on Mart management portal.
