If you provide mobile services, you can enable your subscribers to manage their services directly from their smartphones with the Mobile Account Self-Care App. Fully customizable with your brand’s name, logo, and color scheme, it’s ready for publishing under your account on app marketplaces like Google Play or App Store.
The app is currently available in English, but additional languages can be added upon request.
This app provides the following features:
- Secure access – log in securely, recover, or change the password.
- Service management – check remaining service units in a bundle and activate new bundles.
- Top-ups of active bundles – purchase individual service top-ups (e.g., GB of data) using the account balance or a credit card.
- Balance top-ups – add funds using a credit card or scratch cards (vouchers).
- Balance transfer – transfer balance to other subscribers, e.g., to top up the balance of a family member or friend.
- Transaction history – view account transactions, such as top-ups, pay-as-you-go charges, bundle renewals, and more.
How it works
To sign in, subscribers should be provided with their login and initial password (defined in PortaBilling on the Account > Personal Info > General Info > Web Self-Care panel).
Subscribers download the app (branded with your custom name, logo, and colors) from an app marketplace like Google Play or App Store. After their first login, they set their password and can start using the app.
Requirements
- PortaBilling/PortaSwitch system version MR117 or later
- Subscription to the Mobile Account Self-Care App module in the Add-on Mart. Once you subscribe to this module, you can also activate the Mobile Account Self-Care Portal free of charge.
