All your custom dialing rules are available as templates. You can use them as your base to construct a new rule. Select a template from the list and modify the rules.
Translate from customer format to E.164
This translation rule is used to add/strip country codes, area codes, etc. as prefixes to numbers dialed by the user in the customer format. The rule transforms the dialed number to the E.164 format. You can also define any other number manipulation to translate a number to E.164 format. Use Perl regular expressions to specify the rule in the Rule field.
Translate CLI from E.164 to customer format on incoming calls
This translation rule is used to add/strip country codes, area codes, etc. as prefixes to numbers dialed in the E.164 format and transform them to the customer format for incoming calls. You can also define any other number manipulation to translate a number into a customer format. Use Perl regular expressions to specify the rule in the Rule field.
To use this rule, activate the Translate CLI on incoming calls option for an account.
